But in 2012, Wayne's private jet had to make an emergency landing because of seizures. In 2013, he revealed he was taking medication to help control the seizures, but he still was suffering attacks. He has since decided to tone down his hard partying ways, in order to focus on his health.

He was diagnosed in 1991 but he announced it to the world in 1998. Since then, he not only hasn't let the disease slow down his acting career, but he's been active in looking for a cure, creating the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

In 2013, he announced on the Late Show With David Letterman he announced to the world that he had gone from prediabetic state to having the disease.
